Hello all you fabulous people, Every year I hear dozens of women complain that they don’t  know what to get their man for Valentine’s Day. Well I am here to help you with Ten items that are at the top of most men’s wish list this holiday.  A little side note for you is that I am a huge packers fan so anytime something sports is related you will see packers stuff.

Number 1

A watch of their favorite sports team. They will love you for paying attention to what they like and it’s not girly.

Number 2

Dress up sexy for your man and please him. Make it all about him and give him a night off while you get him off 😉

Number 3

A sports hoodie of his favorite team. This is perfect to wear when there is a chill in the air or when he goes for a run. Great to wear to games and anytime he wants to show off his team. 

Number 4

A gift basket with all his favorite goodies. My favorite is a movie night basket. You set yourself a date with your man and everything is right there. You’re all set. 

Number 5

Get your man a professional massage. Its relaxing and stress free and he won’t even be the one paying for it. A win win all around.

Number 6

Get him a great selection of his favorite alcohol. You can go with a couple big bottles or a cute idea like the picture below with some of his favorite minis. 

Number 7

A set of tickets to watch his favorite team play. Make sure you get at least 2 and you can go with him if you are into that or make sure he knows it’s a great way to take a buddy. Your choice on that. If you not a sports person then you should have him take a buddy or he will know your bored and it will ruin it for him.

If your man is a man’s man then he is probably into tools and car/truck/motorcycle parts and stuff like that. Get him a gift card to a place where he can pick up his next part or tool he needs.

A set of drinking glasses to enjoy his drinks in so he isn’t always using a red solo cup or a coffee cup.  He will like it and it will make him feel fancy 😉 also every time he uses one he will think of you.

Comedy Night is always fun and great to do as a couple. Buy your man a set of tickets to a local comedy club and go have some laughs.

Top 3 ways to make your morning productive!

Ahhh Good Morning, it is the thing we want everyday when we wake up. We want the sun shining and the birds chirping. We want to wake up like Stan from American Dad does.

However, I can bet you don’t wake up like that. That is ok because neither do I. In fact most of us wake up and groan as we squint out eyes open to look at the annoying alarm clock and question if we really need to get up. You know what questions I am talking about… “Do I really need this job?” “Do the kids really need to go to school today?” Then realizing that all of that stuff is important you roll out of bed looking like this.

Now if you are anything like me I need quiet time when I first wake up, and because of this I wake up at 5:50am Monday through Friday so I can bathe and get dressed and ready for the day, including my coffee and that is all before the boys get up. This helps keep me sane and I get some me time before anyone in the house is awake.

I recommend having some kind of morning ritual to get you up and going as well. Here are a few tips I have found to make your morning productive and get you off to a good start.

#1 Eat Breakfast

Yes I know everyone says that this is the most important meal of the day and they are right. You really need to get something inside your body to help it get going. The healthier the better so pass up the donuts and grab something with protein in it. There are ton of on the go recipes for those of you who don’t have time to cook something. One of my favorite things to make is a breakfast egg muffin. I can make these at night and I normally make about 12 of them and the next morning I heat up a few and I am all set. Having something healthy will also make your body feel better and energized and be ready for the day.


#2 Do Not Get on Your Phone

Yes, this is one of the worst things that you can do. One it is extremely time consuming and not a productive way to start your day. Just think we spend so much time on social media and screens that we need a break. Plus it opens you up to all the negativity and whining that people will post about. You know exactly what I am talking about.


#3 Do something for you!

This is extremely important to get your day going right. Pick one thing for you and do it. Self love baby is what I am talking about. Meditate, take a long shower, read a book, or something else that makes you happy. You don’t have to spend a lot of time at this just take 15 to 20 minutes and do something for you. This is a great way to start the day and relax your body.

Now you have three new things to help you start your day off right and be more productive.
